New Feature: The Failed to Close Reminder
Failed to Close Reminders indicate and prompt action to prevent unwarranted risk of theft.
The Failed to Close Reminder is a powerful automation tool for Security Operations and Loss Prevention Teams to identify sites that have failed to complete the arming procedure on time, but crucially, help prevent the situation of a site being left disarmed for the night.
How does it work?
The Failed to Close Reminders utilise the data from the onboard Open and Close schedules to indicate what time a site should close. Taking this closing time, and any other form of buffers into account, CONXTD will inject the Reminder event into the site’s Timeline. The event is unique to each site, and can be easily identified with the ‘Info’ Purple colour scheme.
Who can use the Reminders features?
As the Reminder is injected into the site’s Timeline, anyone with access to the site on CONXTD can view and utilise the feature. The system was designed for Loss Prevention Teams to keep track of late or failed to close activity more accurately, with the ability to send SMS or Voice Notifications to key stakeholders (like Store Managers for example) to arm the alarm system ASAP.
This feature can also be utilised by Central Operation Centres with a broader overview of CONXTD, as sites that have failed to close will be easily recognised under the Close and Purple Info filters on the Alarm page.
Tip: A SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for contacting Store Managers via the Keyholder feature would ensure your estate follows the correct guidelines.
